If you give an Enneagram 6 a Facebook Marketplace Profile She'll probably sort through her unwanted items, second-guessing every decision. When she selects a vintage orange ottoman, she’ll snap a few photos. Then she'll list the ottoman on Marketplace. Vintage items need an accurate description, so she’ll painstakingly write one as honestly as possible. Right before posting, she will read the listing one more time. She'll quickly edit a few words. Ta-da! Button pressed, officially posted. Then someone will message her. She'll look for any signs of scammers. When she's done, she’ll message him back. When she's done responding to the first message, she'll scout out the profile. No profile picture. She'll ask Whitepages if the name comes up as local. When it does, she messages the buyer inquiring the direction they are coming from. When he finally responds, His answer matches her search. Then she'll message the man a meeting place. She tells him her car color and make and model. When she sees what he drives, she'll probably feel very suspicious of a man in a van. Then she'll Google his name. Of course, the only place she finds his name listed is in his mother-in-law's obituary. So she'll agree to meet. And chances are, she'll take her husband and list an old patchwork quilt to go with it.
Notes-
*Thanks to Laura Numeroff's “If You Give…” books for the inspiration.
**The man was perfectly normal and had zero red flags when I met him at the gas station. Haha!
You have the most fun and creative prompts and writing!
LOL this is the opposite of me . . . I think I'm a bit too cavalier about these things sometimes! (When I was 21 I needed a backpack for my big trip to Europe after graduation; I found one on Craigslist and went BY MYSELF to some man's house to get it. Oof. Thankful for divine protection despite my foolishness!)
